CODE OF CONDUCT
TUESDAY RUN CLUB
IT'S JUST HOW WE ROLL
We’re here for the trails, the snacks, and the good times. To keep the Tuesday Run Club a place where everyone feels welcome, we have a few simple rules. They aren’t fancy, but they’re how we protect the community.
RULE #1
NO EGOS
This isn’t a race or somewhere to show off. We don’t care how fast you are or what gear you’re wearing. If you’re here to flex or look down on others, you’re in the wrong place. We celebrate the community, not the peacock.
RULE #2
EVERY PACE IS A CLUB PACE
"Social Pace" and “All Levels Welcome” aren’t just slogans; it’s how we roll. We look out for each other on the trails. If you’re at the front, you loop back. If you’re at the back, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
RULE #3
BE A DECENT HUMAN
This is the big one. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or being a jerk. This includes any behaviour that makes someone feel unwelcome or unsafe based on their race, gender, ability, or background. Be kind, be supportive, and keep the good times rollng or you’ll be asked to leave.
RULE #4
RESPECT THE TRAILS
The trails are our playground; they were here long before us and will be long after we’re gone. Respect them, don't litter, stay on the paths where it matters, and be polite to other trail users - dogs and hikers get a "hello", especially dogs.
RULE #5
THE "GOOD TIMES" CLAUSE
We’re here by choice. If someone is consistently bringing the mood down, making others uncomfortable, or ignoring the "no ego" rule, we reserve the right to ask them to find a different hill to run on. We’ll protect the club and its community every time.
SEE YOU ON THE TRAILS!
